XICW Detroit returns THIS SUNDAY
with one of our most important events of the year!
XICW 210: The 2016 Malcolm Monroe Memorial Cup Tournament proudly takes place 6/5/16 at The Imperial House in Clinton Twp., Michigan.
8 Men – 1 Survivor!
ENTRANT #1: ORLANDO CHRISTOPHER secured his spot in the tournament, defeating Dr. Repcia in a MMMCup Qualifier at Proving Ground 3.
ENTRANT #2: Proving Ground Rookie CHRIS MOORE secured his spot in the tournament, upsetting Movado in a MMMCup Qualifier at XICW 209.
ENTRANTS 3 thru 8 will be decided in five different qualifiers taking place the night of the tournament on 6/5.
ENTRANT #3 will be the winner of (MMMCup Qualifier) GAVIN QUINN vs. former TNA & current All-Japan star SUSHI.
ENTRANT #4 will be the winner of (MMMCup Qualifier - Former Partners Collide) JOE COLEMAN vs. IDRIS ABRAHAM w/ MARK GJOKA
ENTRANT #5 will be the winner of (MMMCup Qualifier - Xtreme Rules Match) JEFF BROOKS vs. DICKIE BRONSON
ENTRANT #6 will be the winner of (MMMCup Qualifier - XICW Light Heavyweight Title Match) WILLIE WATTS vs. CALEB STILLS
ENTRANTS #7 and #8 will be determined by the winning team of (MMMCup Qualifier - XICW Tag Team Title Match) DBA & MALCOLM MONROE III vs. VINNIE & SONNY SCARBONI
* RULES for The Malcolm Monroe Sr Memorial Cup:
1. Starts off as a Eight Man Battle Royal until two competitors have been eliminated.
2. Six-Man Tag Team Bout until a competitor gets eliminated (wrestlers choose their partners).
3. Five-Way Frey until a competitor gets eliminated.
4. Tag Team Contest until a competitor gets eliminated (wrestlers choose their partners).
5. Three Way Dance until a competitor gets eliminated.
6. Falls count anywhere between the last two competitors, and the winner will be The 2016 Malcolm Monroe Sr. Memorial Cup Champion!
The winner of the tournament is then automatically guaranteed a title shot, of the championship of their choosing.
