Midwest Heavyweight Championship Vacant.
Due to injury Alex Shelley was unable to defend the Midwest Heavyweight Championship at the Proving Ground show this past Sunday May 15th. With Shelley not scheduled to return until July we unfortunately had to strip him of the title. Alex Shelley was scheduled to defend the title vs Hakim Zane. The winner of that match would have defended the title vs former champion Rhyno June 5th at the Imperial House in Clinton Township. Since Zane is still the #1 contender and Rhyno is owed a rematch. There was only one logical solution to crown a new Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Sunday June 5th it will be Rhyno vs Hakim Zane and the winner will be the new Midwest Heavyweight Champion.
