Vacancy Filled.
This past Sunday April 5th Hakim Zane defeated Rhyno to win the vacant Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Zane has had issues getting his well deserved title shot over the last few months. But when he finally got his opportunity he made ir count, by getting the 1 2 3 and capturing the Midwest Heavyweight Championship. The 2016 Malcolm Monroe Memorial Cup Tournament was filled with action, excitement and emotion. The last two standing were the current XICW Tag Team Champions The Monroe's. Who are also the son and grandson of the legend this tournament is named after. It was father VS son in the finals to earn the right to hoist the cup that means more to them then anybody inside the building. In the end in what some considered an upset “MM3” Malcolm Monroe III pinned his father to become the 2016 Malcolm Monroe Memorial Cup Tournament winner.
